Glides: The AI network of the beverage industry.
Turning every pour into data.
For decades, the $3T beverage industry has been stagnant. Pushing offline, outdated products onto customers. Resulting in customers getting a low quality experience, and beverage companies lacking behavioral data. It’s time for a change.
In June 2025, we completed the beta launch of Glides. Customer usage was intense. And we were able to see customer behavior data in real-time.
In other words, we found a path to bring the beverage industry online.
Now we’re raising capital to build “Glide 2.0” and scale.
A couple hints about what’s in store for Glide 2.0:
Proprietary, real-time consumption data
AI system that learns from every pour to optimize demand, products, and engagement
A network effect that strengthens with every new Glide installed
An open platform for beverage companies
We predict that Glides will be a game changer in this massive, important industry. In 10 years, the idea of buying a single-use bottle will feel as outdated as dialing up the internet on a landline.
Beta launch details
For the beta launch, we created an MVP that was lean and bootstrapped together primarily with 3d printing. Filled with our own drink creations.
The goal of this beta launch was to answer 2 questions:
Would people love Glides?
Can we get the data?
Doing cold calls and going door-to-door, we were able to deploy 88 units into 5 hotels in 5 months.
This MVP was made as a mini bar replacement. With each unit positioned inside hotel rooms.
Guests scanned a QR code to activate the Glide, and however much they poured was charged to their card.
Beta launch highlights
Despite customers paying a premium, the results were great:
People consumed 5x more than expected. The first customer, on the first night, consumed 96oz (the entire Glide). This phenomenon happened 2 other times in a 30-day period.
Consumption intensified when offered complimentary. The first time we put Glides into a hotel lobby for free, people got so excited that they ripped the button off within 5 minutes.
People are drawn to Glides. On several occasions, strangers approached us unprompted to ask about the Glides and where they could get one for themselves.
Using the data and lessons learned from this beta launch, we now have a clear path on what needs to be built next to take over the beverage industry.
